Kate Middleton Style News, Pics, Trends, Hair Styles and Tips
Coming up to almost a year ago, Kate Middleton walked down the aisle in one of the world’s most beautiful wedding dresses. Millions of people lined the streets of London and millions more watched the Duchess’ big day on television, gasping as she appeared from her wedding car, wearing that dress.
While her husband Prince William works hard away from home, Kate is busy with various Royal duties. One of which will be the very tricky decision to pick the new shoe designer of the future.
Last week, the UK’s most influential female Royals took a little day trip together to London’s biggest boutique department store, Fortnum & Mason.
While her husband Prince William was away on duty, Kate Middleton spent her Valentine’s day in Liverpool, visiting dry bar, The Brink Trade Co. as well as Alder Hey Children’s Hospital as part of her Royal duties. The Duchess wore a demure brown ‘Celeste’ coat from British designer Hobbs which she purchased for over £300 back in September 2011.
Kate Middleton’s wardrobe is the envy of every fashion lover worldwide. Every designer and label that she touches turns to Gold and now it’s the turn of Emina Hadzic of British-based label La Luna London, to feel the Kate effect.
She’s one of Kate Middleton’s favourite designers and she’s certainly made a name for herself in the fashion industry since studying at Southampton Solent University and graduating from Central St Martins School of Art in London.
The ‘Kate effect’ has swept the nation this year. Every time the Duchess of Cambridge appears in a highstreet label, the item sells out in double quick time.
Christmas is a busy time for the Royal family and having wed Prince William earlier in the year, 2011 saw Kate Middleton join the Royal family for her very first Christmas at Sandringham. Of course, any public appearance she made meant that all eyes would be on her and what she was wearing. The Duchess had already revealed that she would change five times during the Christmas celebrations, but unfortunately it hasn’t been revealed exactly what she was wearing on the big day.
A few of you lucky ladies (and gents!) may have gone to see Kate Middleton’s wedding dress when it was on show at Buckingham Palace. Well, imagine the worldwide hysteria that will ensue when a handful of Diana’s most famous dresses will be available for viewing in the new year. Diana was as well known for her wardrobe choices as her charity work, and even 14 years on from her death, the publicity surrounding the princess continues.
Kate Middleton has become somewhat of a saviour for the British High-Street. The very moment she is pictured wearing a little High-Street number, you can pretty much guarantee that it will sell out in record time.
