Singer Amy Winehouse is another celebrity dipping into the industry of fashion and clothing as of late.

The popular UK artist has been working with designer Fred Perry to produce a line for the British sportswear favourite.

“I like 40s and 50s stuff”, she tells Glamour magazine.  “I played Rizzo in Grease when I was a kid at school and I’ve always worn bowling shirts and things like classic trenchcoats”, she revealed.

The new clothing line portrays the singers own style and personality and is available for all you chic ladies out there, starting in a size six; of course the star wanted to be able to wear her own clothes right?

Her weight is actually one of the reasons why she decided to start up her own clothing line.  Amy revealed that her weight loss was in fact due to her putting a stop to her unhealthy diet: “Everyone thinks it was because of my lifestyle.  It was because my eating habits got a lot better and I came to my natural weight.

“I’m not really skinny but I’m tiny and I couldn’t really get anything because they didn’t do a size six.”

Following years of controversy over her health and marriage, today Amy proudly lives her life clean of drugs and looking forward to the future following her divorce.

You can catch Amy’s interview in November’s issue of Glamour.
