Is Beyoncé Set to Launch a Maternity Range?

Back in August, the bootylicious Beyoncé announced live on stage at the MTV VMAs, that she was expecting her first child with rapper Jay-Z. She performed her hit single ‘Love on Top’ at the awards ceremony, while wearing a specially customised version of a Dolce & Gabbana purple tuxedo jacket with a white shirt and loose fitting black pants. She wrapped up the performance by placing her hand on her new bump, cleverly shown off by the customised jacket, and gave the crowds a knowing look.

Since then, all eyes have been on the expectant mother and as her bump grows, we’re all desperate to see how she will stay stylish. In the November issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine, Beyoncé reveals her nerves about announcing the news and how she held it together on the red carpet in that stunning Orange Lanvin gown.

But, what is even more exciting is the fact that the soon to be yummy-mummy is set to design a maternity range after being inspired by other pregnant ladies. In the magazine interview, she says: “All I see now are clothes that are flattering on a pregnant woman. It’s been so exciting for me! I love figuring out designs that still make me feel edgy and sexy while pregnant.”

During the interview, the singer and fashion designer exclusively revealed that she will be designing a maternity range for her House of Deréon line which is available in the UK and US. We can’t wait to see the new collection and we expect there will be a sudden flurry of very stylish mums-to-be.
