Kate Middleton: The Thrifty Princess as She Say’s No to a Housekeeper/Dresser?

We are starting to love Kate Middleton for her thriftyness. First we see her sporting mostly highstreet clothes, such as Zara and LK Bennett and now Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge has decided to ditch plans to employ a housekeeper-dresser for her Royal tour in the US at the end of the month.

Well Kate has certainly impressed most people in the fashion world. As soon as she is snapped by the papps it is almost certain that everyone wants to know what she is wearing so they can get her look and recreate it. So it is no surprise that she needs someone to dress her when she attends for her Royal duties.

That said she will still be travelling with her hairdresser, James Pryce, an adviser, 2 press secretaries, 2 private secretaries to ensure that everything goes like clockwork.

The couple however plan to meet up with LA based David and Victoria Beckham. As Victoria Beckham is now a well know designer, I wonder if Kate will be taking style tips of her? We personally think that she’ll manages perfectly fine without her especially with her recent style choices and the fact that she managed to do her own wedding make up on her big day!

When she returns from her Royal duties in the US she is planning to hire a joint housekeeper and dresser to serve her and Prince William in her apartment in Kensington Palace in London.
