Christina sings America's National Anthem

After coming under fire for her version of The Star Spangled Banner at the weekend’s Superbowl XLV, Christina Aguilera is not letting this keep her down, as she’s named on the bill to be performing at this weekend’s Grammy Awards.

Set to be performing alongside the likes of Jennifer Hudson and gospel’s Yolanda Adams, the women with voices will be heading to the stage in honour of the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin.

Aretha will be receiving an award at the ceremony for her lifetime of work throughout such a hard working and high achieving career and what better way to honour the Queen of Soul than to have some of today’s most loved singers to pay tribute to her in a profession they all adore.

Guests and viewers of the ceremony will have the show kicked off with a bang as the ladies perform some of Aretha’s biggest hits. 

Sounds like the 53^rd annual awards show is one not to be missed.
