Now we have got through the white Christmas and a hectic New Year, everyone is looking forward to the change in weather and the change in fashion that comes with Spring 2011. Hitting the catwalks and becoming a big hit already with the celebrities are tropical print outfits, perfect to put a spring into your step for the up and coming season.

Designers such as Stella McCartney and House of Holland have both embraced the trend in their Spring/Summer 2011 collections; coupling the look with understated summery makeup and a pair of killer heels, there is a tropical look for all shapes, sizes and tastes.

We all know that the success of a trend rests heavily on the popularity it has with the stars. This one is no different, but with celebrities such as Milla Jovovich spotted out and about in tropical garments, it’s going to be hard not to jump feet first into floral heaven.

From dresses and skirts to trousers and jumpsuits, tropical prints are everywhere. Never one to shy away from the most outrageous of fashion trends, French Connection have a small but perfectly formed collection of loud and summery prints to throw you into the deep end of the tropical world. This French Connection dress is the topical trend in all it’s element and for just £37 it’s cheap and easy to get into the Hawaiian mood.

With such a beautiful trend on the way I don’t think I can wait for the Spring and the sun to come, thank goodness it’s already available to buy!
