Gwyneth Paltrow named as face of US Bag label ‘Coach’
Gwyneth Paltrow has really been hitting the headlines recently. The Actress, and wife of Coldplay lead-singer Chris Martin, wowed audiences with her performance at the 2011 Grammy Awards alongside Cee Lo Green and then went on to please Glee fans all around the world when she appeared in three episodes of the show that has now become a worldwide success. In the three episodes, Gwyneth showed off more of her vocal skills with her take on Joan Jett’s ‘Do You Wanna Touch Me’ and Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Landslide’ as well as dueting with the dreamy Matthew Morrison to perform ‘Kiss’ by Prince.
Now Gwyneth has been snapped up as the brand ambassador for luxury bag label Coach. Seeing as Gwyneth’s lifestyle is that of luxury, it seems only fitting that the A-lister be the face of the luxury company. She will appear in the company’s Autumn advertising campaign which will be shot by renowned photographer Peter Lindbergh. The shoot will be taking place in New York and the images will be released in September.
Talking about her collaboration with the bramd, Paltrow said: “I grew up in New York City and I’ve always thought of Coach as the quintessential New York brand. I’ll never forget getting my first Coach bag.”
The company is famous for it’s signature ‘C’ print Coach bag which coincidently celebrates it’s 70th anniversary this year. Coach are fast becoming a popular choice for handbag lovers and the label opened it’s first store in the UK in March earlier this year.
