We’ve all heard of Paris, London, New York and Milan Fashion Weeks but anyone heard of Lakme Fashion Week?  It’s the main fashion show held in India which is aimed at “redefining the future of fashion and Integrate India into the global fashion world”.

As my ancestors originate from the mountains of Kashmir, South Asian dress and style has always been something which is very close to my heart so Lakme Fashion Week always grabs my interest. Growing up, I have always been surrounding by strong and vibrant colours which are not only seen in my clothing but also in my home.

Now it is time to flirt with the exotic colours bought over from South Asian culture and infuse this into your homes to. To get the Indian look you can still use your original furniture but accessorise with Indian furnishings, intricate mirrors and lamps.
