Paris Fashion Week: Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss re-unite on the Catwalk
Not only was today’s Marc Jacob’s for Louis Vuitton Autumn/Winter collection quite the outstanding affair, with models draped from head to toe in shiny latex creations and appearing from behind gilded lifts guarded by doormen, but it was also a moment for two of the world’s biggest supermodels to re-unite.
Kate officially retired from the Catwalk back in 2004 but has since made a few appearances, the most prestigious being the Fashion For Relief Show, where she and Campbell walked the runway in a tribute to their designer friend Alexander McQueen.
They came together today at the Louis Vuitton Autumn/Winter 2011 show and sent the audience wild with delight. Campbell took to the runway in a bell-boy style hat, fitted leather sweater and camel skirt along with furry handbag and knee-high boots, while Moss closed the show in a pair of daring hot pants, skimpy black bodice and lace up knee-highs. She caused much controversy at the end of the show as she defied the ‘National No Smoking Day’ by lighting up a cigarette at the end of the runway and casually taking a puff.
