Spring/Summer 2010 Trend: Sheer Fashion on Catwalk and Celebrities

Versace’s spring and summer collection is guaranteed to have heads turning because the sheer fabric look, otherwise known as ‘see-through fabric’ is back.  It now has more elegant and creative styles than what we have seen before in the 1990’s and 2006.

Tops and dresses are now being layered and produced more fittingly so that a more feminine persona can be created.  This Versace runway blouse and dress resemble just that.

The more delicate the sheer fabric is, the more elegant you will look.  In order to maintain the elegance of the items of clothing, the idea is to accompany the outfit with modest clothes.  Shorts or fitted trousers will suit the blouse and a tailored jacket with the dress.

Megan Fox and Olivia are stars who have already displayed their own interpretation of the sheer fashion fix, whether casual or glam.
