As the clocks struck 12 and with thousands welcoming in the New Year whilst enjoying the holiday season, every girl wanted to dazzle and shine in their best outfits.

Well the return of glitz and glamour to the catwalk and retail stores are helping us all to keep shining well into 2011; yes that’s right, the season of sparkle is set to stay.

The likes of Sandra Bullock and Jessica Alba stepped out in their favourite shiny pieces late last year with Sandra proving the LBD can never go wrong, as she went for the long sleeves, mini dress feel.  Jessica’s dress of the same style also had a glamorous feel with added detail of gold and black vertical, zig zag stripes.

Style Clone favourite Kim Kardashian also got in the spirit of shine whilst she partied in Las Vegas NYE.  In her choice of a glittery, silver Marc Bower designer dress, she danced the night away in this fun party piece.

Lets keep the month of January a shimmering one shall we ladies.
