This morning has brought great news for fashion buyers, especially those in the UK with a great love for American retailers.

Much loved store Fashion 21, are set to bring their second UK store to their chosen location in Liverpool, following the successes of their first ever UK store here in England’s Birmingham.

Vice President Larry Meyer stated: “This location in Liverpool is another strong step in our expansion within the UK and Europe”.

With a great positioning on the junction of Liverpool’s Church Street and Whitechapel, the popular destination has high hopes.  And ‘if planning permission is granted in July, the new store could be open by next November’, reports Liverpool’s Daily Post.

Meyer continued: “We are extremely excited to have found a store space in a location where customers will appreciate our brand”.

Originally situated in Los Angeles, California, Forever 21 have as many as 480 stores nationwide (Puerto Rico, Canada and China to name a few) and its next location in Liverpool isn’t set to be the last, as talks about store proposals for London and Glasgow arise.

In fact, late last year it was reported that London’s Bond Street will soon be home to a new Forever 21 following the closure of music retailer HMV.

Their lease is thought to have already been sold to the American firm, so you never know; we could have two new arrivals of this chain in England by the end of 2011.
