Accessorise a fashionable iPad case with the rest of your outfit

As Apple fans are counting down the days to the release of the iPad 2 on March 25th, there is now a greater focus on how to carry these stylish pieces of technology around on a day-to-day basis.  Now it wouldn’t be safe to carry it in an over-sized handbag or your trustworthy satchel, you need a stylish case to continue the sophisticated look of the iPad.

This is what you need.

Thomas Lyte case, £195

This is a simple leather case in which your iPad will slide into nicely.  The fold over detail with a statement black fastening is a great added touch because it could quite easily pass as a clutch bag.  This £195 case was designed by Thomas Lyte but you don’t need to go for the high-scale designer choice if this isn’t you.

Take a look at Net-a-Porter’s site where they have a variety of cases from £50+ and in particular, the set designed by Marc Jacobs will add a bright spark to any day.  The Jumble-embossed neoprene sleeves are available in pink, blue, black and multi-coloured, all at £50 or £35.

This site is amazing for any style you are looking for.  They have a snakeskin and crocodile pattern for a more daring twist to your outfit and even a Gucci monogrammed choice.

Either way, it is clear that carrying your iPad can be a fashionable experience and there is no worry of it clashing with your clothing.  You can make it work just like any other accessory in your wardrobe.

So which one is your favourite?
