Nominations for the Emmy awards have been announced! The winners will be crowned on the 22nd of September. Who are you backing?
The nominees were announced for the 65th Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on the 18th of July. For fans of fantastic television, this year has been a smash hit, with shows such as Mad Men, House of Cards, Girls, Modern Family and Game of Thrones taking audiences by storm.
As with any red carpet event, the media attention will also be focused on the fashionable outfits worn by the talented nominees, so who has red carpet form? Proving that you can be talented, funny and fashionable are the comedic actress nominees: Lena Dunham from Girls, Tina Fey from 30 Rock and Julie Bowen from Modern Family.
In her latest Red Carpet Red Carpet attire, Lena Dunham opted for a dramatic floor length black gown with polka dot netting up to her neck. It drew the line between pretty and cool and showed off her tattoos perfectly.
At a recent New York premiere, Tina Fey looked sleek and smart in a leather peplum top and textured body con pencil skirt.
Julie Bowen shook off her comical, mumsy image from Modern Family in this statement black, backless jumpsuit, with lace detail to the neck and a bright red boxy clutch.
The ladies in the drama category are not to be overlooked, with Elisabeth Moss from Mad Men up for nomination as well as Claire Danes from Homeland. Both of these ladies are high in the style stakes too, and are ones to look out on the Emmy Red Carpet.
