When you think of Janet Jackson, the words singer, actress and famous family spring to mind.  You can now add the word model to that list as she is now the new face of Blackglama for their fall season.

The fur campaign may cause a stir with some strong minded anti animal cruelty individuals, but that hasn’t managed to stop the large number of big stars willing to represent the luxurious label.  Janet comes after the likes of stars Audrey Hepburn and Diana Ross and I’m sure she will not be the last in this four decade long campaign.

The ‘What Becomes a Legend Most’ campaign choose their stars and on their latest decision, they are quoted to have said Janet is a true legend.  “Janet is an icon in the world of music and entertainment.  She represents everything that this storied campaign embodies.”

Renowned photographer Rocco Laspata will be shooting the ads for Blackglama and anxious fans of Jackson’s and the fur line will be able to feast their eyes on the end result come the beginning of September.  The worldwide debut will be at a magazine, billboard and website near you in a matter of weeks.
