Kate Middleton makes Vanity Fair’s International Best Dressed list
2011 has been the year of Kate Middleton. The Kate effect has well and truly swept the nation and has extended to the very far corners of the globe as she has become the worlds new favourite Royal.
After the official Royal tour of Canada, Kate blew fashion lovers away with her elegant wardrobe choices and we all love the fact that a Princess isn’t afraid to still wear high-street clothing and even recycle her outfits for various occasions. This girl has serious style envy. All girls want to be her, look like her and dress like her and it’s extremely possible now as a whole host of imitation Kate dresses have been created and we’re snapping up the same high-street clothes as she has been pictured in, in double quick, website crashing time.
Every fashion magazine wants Kate and her great sense of style to feature in their pages and on their front-covers, and even Vanity Fair magazine have got in on the act by placing the popular Princess in their 72nd annual Best-Dressed List. The giants behind the magazine have said that Kate has enjoyed “a whirlwind of fashion successes,” and has “captivated the world with her signature mix of high and low fashion,” and of course, we completely agree!
Kate previously appeared in the Vanity Fair International Best Dressed list back in 2008 when she was only dating Prince William, but this occasion sees her appear in the list as an official member of the Royal family. Kate joins the likes of Michelle Obama, Carey Mulligan and Tilda Swinton on the list, and rightly so as she has completely wowed everybody with her lady-like manner and feminine fashion choices. We’re not sure we have seen her make a fashion mistake yet!
