Bag Yourself A Designer Christmas Jumper In Charity Auction

Submitted by on Wednesday, 20 November 2013 | No Comment

The ever popular and slightly ‘geek-chic’ Christmas jumper has been given a very glamorous designer makeover in aid of Save the Children.

14 British brands, including Burberry, Alexander McQueen and Paul Smith, have designed a jumper for Save the Children in conjunction with the charity’s annual Christmas jumper day on December the 13th. The bespoke festive jumpers will be available at auction on this very day, with proceeds going to the charity.

The month long auction, however, has a very interesting twist: the lowest unique bid wins!

The bidding opens on the 28th of November. To enter you need to text the name of the designer who’s jumper you wish to win along with your minimum bid to 78484 . It costs £1.50 to enter, which will go towards Save the Children. Good luck!

Each jumper has been hand knitted with love and care by Wool and the Gang, and other designers include Anya Hindmarch, Vivienne Westwood, House of Holland and Matthew Williamson. The collection will be put on display at Westfield London on the 28th with a Stuart Semple designed installation. A nice pre-Christmas treat to get you feeling festive as well as charitable.

If you want to get in on the action but don’t want to bid, show support for the charity by wearing your best Christmas jumper on December the 13th and donate £1 to Save the Children.
