Never one to shy away from an offbeat ensemble, Imogen Heap accepted her Grammy for ‘Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical’ wearing an outfit that displayed tweets and tweetpics from her fans, via the collar on her dress and her Fendi handbag.
Fans were able to send tweets to Imogen throughout the night, which showed up on her collar while her handbag displayed pictures. She claims that the dress is her own creation, and was her own way of including her fans in the award ceremony.
I’m not quite sure how this works, but it is really nice to see a calebrity thank their fans for their success by inviting them to be present at an awards ceremony somehow!
