The Styled to Rock television series which is produced by Rihanna, has asked Erin Wasson, a former Victoria Secret model and designer to join the team. She is being hired as a mentor to aspiring designers who will compete to dress Rhianna at an unnamed high profile event. The other mentor in the show includes musician Pharrell Williams.

Erin Wasson is not only known for her modelling at Victoria Secret but has appeared in a number of high profile magazines which include Vogue, Elle and Esquire. She has also walked the runways for designers such as Armani, Cavalli, Gucci.

Not only does Erin have a figure to die for, but her face is also stunning. Since 2002, she has been the international face of Maybelline, Clinique and Max Factor appearing in both print and television ads for the cosmetic brands.

However, her fashion designing career started back in 2010 when she launched her own jewellery line, Low Luv, in March 2010. She turned her hand to ready-to-wear in January 2011 by teaming up with chic French label Zadig & Voltaire to design a collection, which offered a more refined take on the model’s rock ‘n’ roll-inspired style.

It isn’t only us that thinks Wasson is suited as a mentor for the television hit series. Salaam Coleman Smith, president of Style Media has commented “As a leading model and mainstay in the fashion industry, Erin’s unapologetic approach to fashion and free-spirited style will give the ‘Styled to Rock’ designers invaluable insight. With Rihanna as executive producer and Pharrell and Erin as mentors, our designers will gain incredible experience while also being challenged in new ways as they compete to earn the title of America’s next trendsetting designer.”

The show is due to air in the US later this year.
