Would you choose a suit and tie over a sultry dress?
Every week we have the choice of different styles, trends, colours, and length in our clothes. Dresses, cami’,s jeans, leggings, jumpers: the list goes on but would you ever slip out of your comfort zone and try something out of the ordinary?
Monday night (November 29th) was New York’s Gotham Independent Film Awards and one lady that caught the paparazzi’s eye was Leighton Meester. The Gossip Girl star opted for an alternative look in a charcoal coloured Thom Browne suit and she’s proved that women can look just as hot and suave in a shirt and trousers as men do.
The slim-lined trousers weren’t too baggy as you could still see the shape of her legs and the jacket resembled a figure-hugging blazer with gentle shoulder padding.  Keep this top fashion tip in mind if you decide to clone her style as you don’t want to lose your shape.
There’s also no need to worry about looking less feminine, simply choose bold and bright accessories to compliment your clothes. Finding a bag to match may be more of a difficult decision but if you aim for a contrasting colour to the style of your suit and that should definitely work.
