When Kate and William married in April this year, of course all eyes were on the magnificent wedding dress, but eyes briefly swayed onto Bridesmaid Pippa Middleton who was also sporting a gorgeous Alexander McQueen creation.

Pippa’s figure hugging dress was said to have cost a staggering £20,000 and included teeny tiny button fastenings on the back as well as lace trim cap sleeves and cowl neckline. Not forgetting that the dress also introduced the world to the delights of Pippa Middleton’s bottom which caused a huge frenzy across the country.

Now the prestigious fashion label has launched a much more affordable Bridesmaid dress, heavily inspired by Pippa’s. The dress, which is made from off-white silk crepe, includes the same cowl neckline, accentuated cap sleeves and back fastenings as the original, worn by Pippa. It has a similar elegant cut and clean silhouette but costs a fraction of the price at £1,995 from Net-a-Porter.com

The dress is the perfect option for those Brides-to-be who want to have a slice of the glamorous Royal wedding on their own big day. It’s already available to buy but is selling out fast so you need to be quick!
