Karl Lagerfeld Photographs Florence Welch for Limited Edition Vinyl
She’s a fiery-haired designer’s muse and Karl Lagerfeld is one of the biggest designers in the world, making it a match made in heaven when the two joined forces again recently.
Karl Lagerfeld is adding yet another project to his fast growing list as he has recently photographed the flame haired singer in a number of poses and designer outfits, especially for the limited edition vinyl cover of Florence and the Machine’s new single ‘Shake It Out’.
The exclusive photographs, shot by Lagerfeld, depicts the 25 year old singer decked out in beautiful Chanel gowns. The band’s single ‘Shake it Out’ will be released in screen-printed and silver-foiled vinyl editions, priced at priced £50 from vfeditions.com, but you’ll need to hurry as only 500 copies will be released.
The singer and the designer have worked together previously after Lagerfeld was so taken by the singer’s style that he designed all of her US tour outfits earlier this year. The band also performed at the Chanel ‘Under-the-Sea’ themed catwalk show during Paris Fashion Week. The two seem to have built a great relationship with one another and we’re sure this isn’t the last joint venture we will see from them both.
