Kate Middleton US Mania Heightens as Reiss Open Flagship Store in Bloomingdales
Since her Royal visit to the US, America can’t get enough of Kate Middleton. She was snapped everyday during her visiting sporting a fashionable outfit, and it would appear that everyone loves her for her classic style and elegance. Not only is Kate Middleton known for her emerging fashion sense, the Duchess of Cambridge can also be called the ‘Thrifty Princess’ because of her ability to recycle her outfits and also not afraid to wear highstreet as well as designer.
One of her favourite stores has to be Reiss and she has been spotted on quite a few occasions wearing their dresses. The famous Reiss Shola dress, which she was seen wearing when the Obamas visited the UK sold within a matter of hours on the Reiss website. Reiss decided to after popular demand to restock the item last month and again surprisingly the store sold out within a matter of hours.
So with such a strong associations with the Middleton brand, it would seem Reiss are certainly cashing in on the profits from the Kate Middleton mania. Their US as well UK website has been doing extremely well since the introduction of the stylish princess, however, UK fashion retailers have decided to increase their foothold in the fashion retail market in the US.
Reiss have decided to open a 700 square foot womenswear shop in Bloomingdale’s Flagship store on 59th street in New York City. Currently the retailer has 7 stores in the US so this new store opening certainly shows a catalyst with the US going Kate Middleton crazy.
