Uniqlo Children’s Collection Launches
Uniqlo have launched their first children’s collection which is available to buy online now and will appear in UK stores on Friday the 23rd of August.
The range features mini versions of Uniqlo’s signature pieces, such as bright skinny jeans, checked shirts and eye-popping puffer jackets. The range is colourful and fun, comfy and casual, perfect to lets kids play around in but keeping them looking the part.
“We are extremely pleased to be launching kids into the UK market this season,” said Uniqlo Europe CEO Dr Berndt Hauptkorn. “The collection encapsulates the high-quality design aesthetic and innovative fabrics that Uniqlo uses across all its collections, and we are confident that the collection will be a success among both current and new customers.”
The brand Uniqlo is already known for its unfussy approach to quality casual wear and this is shown through the children’s collection too. Coats and jackets feature handy name labels and hook loops to avoid classroom confusion, pockets are sewn in especially to prevent tears, and adjustable waistbands feature in all of the trousers, skirts and shorts for comfort as well as ease. All of this and they still manage to keep their funky take on classic buys aesthetic. Prices range from £5.90 to £49.90.
These are my favourite pieces from the new collection:
Girls printed top: £7.90
Girls polka dot trousers: £9.90
Boys hooded jacket: £12.90
Boys trousers: £9.90
ALL UNIQLO
This cropped polka dot trousers are great for the changing seasons, they are cute and girly without being over the top and look great with this printed top.
Over on the boy’s side, this colourful hooded jacket is sure to catch some eyes as well as being cosy and practical. These rust coloured trousers are very on trend, and also a good colour for hiding those mud stains…
Plus, at these prices, it really doesn’t break the bank to create a whole new wardrobe for your little darlings. A great collection for kids to just be kids in.
