Is Vera Wang Preparing for Halloween with her Latest Bridal Collection?
When we think of Vera Wang’s famous wedding gowns, we think gorgeous white, flowing dresses, that would make any woman feel like a princess on her big day. Some of Hollywood’s biggest names, most recently including Kim Kardashian, have called up Wang to design their dresses, but would they be so keen to wear the designer’s latest Halloween inspired collection that was recently revealed?
At her Fall 2012 show in New York on October 16th, Wang revealed her brand new collection of gowns made entirely in Black and Nude colours. The 15 different looks consisted of nude chiffon and black lace looks, heavily inspired by the Victorian Gothic era. The models paraded down the runway in a variety of gorgeous dresses, complete with bustiers, tulle skirts, Chantilly lace and halter-neck lines, and although they weren’t in the traditional white and ivory shades, they still looked utterly gorgeous.
The dresses fitted in perfectly with the show’s ‘Witchcraft’ theme and with Halloween coming up, they’d make the perfect spooky bride costume, whether you’re dressing up for fun or actually getting hitched. The models looked positively Zombie-like with their moody stares, make-up less faces and straggly hair.
