Here at Style Clone we love it when cars get a fashion forward makeover, so imagine our excitement when we discovered that fashion giant Gucci was collaborating with the Fiat 500 range! Following previous successful special editions of the Fiat 500, including pink and matt black, this new design that has brought two of the most influential Italian design companies together, is destined to top them all. The collaboration celebrates the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy and Gucci’s 90th anniversary, and has seen the iconic Fiat 500 be redesigned as the limited edition 500 by Gucci.

Representing the perfect combination of craftsmanship and style, designed by Gucci’s Creative Director Frida Giannini and Fiat’s Centro Stile, the new 500byGucci features the classic Gucci colours of red, white and green, which are of course those of the Italian flag. The model comes in two colour variations, chic and simple black and white, both in unique eye-catching glossy pearl glass paint. This classic Italian car has been re invented with a stylish streak, but if the specifications are more you’re thing, you’ll be pleased to know there is a choice of two brilliant engines: the nimble yet economical 1.2 litre, and the award-winning 0.9 litre TwinAir, priced at £15,765 OTR. “The 500byGucci will enlarge the audience for the already successful Fiat 500, reaching those fashionista customers who want to have a unique car to distinguish themselves,” says Elena Bernardelli, marketing director, Fiat Group Automobiles UK.
