Glee Star Style: Dianna Agron and Lea Michele Turn Up the Heat in Red at the Met Ball
The glitterati were out in force at the annual Costume Institute’s ‘Met Ball’ Gala in New York on Monday night. Stars floated down the red carpet in an array of show stopping gowns, some good, some bad. Two stars who got it right were fellow Glee star’s Dianna Agron and Lea Michele. However, we think maybe the girls on screen rivalry may have shown signs in real life, as they both turned up in fiery red gowns to the same event!
Dianna Agron, who plays teen mum and ex head cheerleader, Quinn Fabray in the hit US show, wore a slinky halter neck maxi dress by Michael Kors accessorised with simple earrings and a large grecian inspired cuff. The dress was chic and simple with a bold neckline, set off beautifully with her blonde hair swept back with a side parting.
Lea Michele couldn’t have been further away from her character, teacher’s pet and needy wannabe star Rachel Berry, in a stunning sculptural Escada strapless silk number. She wore some silver drop earrings and carried a clashing floral clutch giving a youthful edge to her look. The asymmetric neckline and raw edges of the dress give a subtle yet sexy disheveled feel, and her sleek, straight her oozes glamour.
Both girls looked strong and sizzling in their fiery gowns, but we can’t decide who rocked the glamourous red look best!
