Jessica and Ashlee Simpson to create pre-teen clothing range
Jessica and Ashlee Simpson are two stylish Celebrity sisters and they’re about to put their heads together and design a brand new clothing range for pre-teen girls.
Jessica has already tried her hand at the designing lark after creating the Jessica Simpson Collection and the new pre-teen range will be an extension of this.
Jessica and Ashlee will act as co-creative directors for the line, which will be available in the Fall. The range will be geared towards the fashion forward pre-teen and will include sportswear, denim and activewear, all styled on Jessica Simpson’s ‘girly, playful attitude.’
The target market can expect to see knitted tops and shrunken kits, hoodies, graphic tees, drawstring pants, footwear and outerwear.
Although Jessica is already an expert in the clothing design business, this will be the first time that the sisters have collaborated on a line together. Talking about her part in designing the range, Ashlee told WWD: “My goal as co-creative director will be to design clothes that will help inspire young girls to express their personalities and creativity through fashion.”
Jessica also commented, saying: “Creating a tween apparel collection was a natural extension for the brand. I’m excited to bring my sister, Ashlee, along as co-creative director of this division, because she brings a savvy rocker edge that defines today’s tweens.”
We can’t wait to see the collection as we’re sure it will be super stylish and girls all-over the world will love it!
