Another Blogger Style post means another stylish fashion blogger to introduce you to, and this time we have a male blogger for you to meet. Mat, a fashion student who lives by the seaside and writer of  the aptly named ‘Buckets & Spades’ describes his blog as ‘a means to store my thoughts, inspiring images and artists I’ve found but it’s grown and is now more of a diary.’

With a perfect mix of fashion, art, interiors and photography, ‘Buckets & Spades’ is a must-read to add to your blog roll. Mat has also been named one of The Fashion 100 – ‘The Definitive List of the Most Influential Bloggers’ – under the category of Best Men’s Fashion Blogs.

We’ve Style Cloned Mat’s latest outfit from this post to show you how to recreate his look. We love the use of the colours – simplistic and striking. The worker jacket and trousers could look rather formal, but add to the equation a corduroy shirt in burnt orange, a bold red wool hat and hiker boots and the look is given a casual, relaxed twist.

Mat wears a work jacket by Gap, a Topman corduroy shirt, Trousers by Dexter Wong for Topman, second hand hiking boots, a hat from ASOS and socks by Topman.

To recreate this look, start off with a corduroy shirt in a burnt orange or red. If you can’t find a cord version, go for a brushed fabric for a softer finish. Team this with some tapered trousers and turn up the hems to reveal some chunky marl socks. Add on a navy blue casual blazer and some hiking boots, and finish off with a statement red wool hat.

If you like Mat’s style and would like to see more, check out his blog ‘Buckets & Spades‘ for more menswear, art and design posts!
