Meet Coury, writer of the gorgeous fashion blog ‘Fancy Treehouse‘. Jam packed full of wonderful outfits and dreamy photography, this is a style blog not to be missed! Coury describes the reason behind her blog by saying ‘For as long as I can remember, my favorite thing to do was to put outfits together…and wear them…and make every day in each outfit the best day of my life.’

Coury’s style is feminine and fun, mixing vintage fashion with high street pieces and quirky accessories. Think floaty fabrics, pastels and pretty prints, not forgetting her stunning blonde locks!

I’ve chosen a Valentine’s Day inspired look of Coury’s that she recently posted here. Gingham has been given a grown up twist teamed with a wool coat and a sophisticated trilby hat.The addition of knee high socks and pretty pumps give a relaxed, playful look and the colours are just perfect!

Coury wears a dress from When Decades Collide Vintage, a coat by Urban 1972, Urban Outfitters knee high socks, shoes by Dieppa and a Backpack from Romwe.

To recreate this look, go for a red gingham dress with a Peter Pan style collar. If you can’t find one like this, detachable collars are now widely available like the beaded Topshop one below. Wear your dress with red knee high socks and peach flats. Add on a wool coat in a camel shade, and finish off with a trilby style hat and a slouchy backpack. There you have it! The perfect look for a Valentine’s day out with your loved one.

If you like Coury’s style and want to see more lovely looks like this one, be sure to check out her fashion blog ‘Fancy Treehouse‘.
