Blogger Style: Nic From ‘Vint Junky’

Style Clone’s latest installment of ‘Blogger Style’ features the lovely Nic, writer of the blog ‘Vint Junky‘. Her blog is a personal style and inspiration diary. She says that the blog ‘focuses mainly on incorporating vintage wear with the contemporary, designer and high street’, which reflects in her outfits.

Nic’s style is a mix of classic and feminine prints and shapes teamed with unusual, modern accessories. She puts together some wonderfully chic outfits and photographs them in some equally lovely settings.

Nic has challenged me to recreate one of her most recent looks from this post. I absolutely love the clashing traditional style prints and the seventies inspired palazzo trousers. The look is finished off beautifully with an aztec inspired statement necklace, a bang-on-trend turban and some lace up platform boots.

Nic wears a thrifted blouse, Vintage velvet palazzo pants, Jeffrey Campbell boots, and a Vintage turban and necklace.

To recreate her look, you will need some Palazzo pants, or extra wide leg trousers in a strong, statement print. Wear these with a cropped long sleeve blouse in a pale colour with a clashing print. Keep the rest of the look simple to ensure you don’t have too much going on, so stick to black accessories. Add on a turban or turban inspired headband and a chunky necklace. Finish off the look with some chunky lace up platform boots for extra height and style.

IF you have a love for Vintage fashion and would like to see more looks like this, be sure to take a look at Nic’s style blog ‘Vint Junky‘.
