Blogger Style: Hannah From ‘London Rose’

We have another installment of our Blogger Style feature for you here at Style Clone, with the lovely Hannah who you may recognise from her blog. Hannah writes ‘London Rose‘, a blog full of outfits showing off her grungy yet glam style. With a passion for charity shopping and vintage fashion, her looks are always individual and edgy with a relaxed feel. Hannah lives and studies in London and hopes to become a stylist one day, which is no surprise when you look at all the looks on her blog.

I’ve chosen to recreate the most recent of Hannah’s outfits, which features in this post. What drew me to this look is that fact that all of the items bar the tights (from Primark) are thrifted. This just goes to show that great fashion doesn’t have to cost a fortune, and some amazing pieces can be found in second hand, charity and vintage stores. The chunky knit cardigan and high waist denim shorts are great together. Hannah has pulled everything together with some simple pieces and statement tights to create the perfect look for day to day life in London.

To get this look go for a chunky knit cardigan in a slightly oversized fit. Hannah’s brown and plum speckled number is stunning, but if you can’t find one like this then go for a simple cable knit version. Underneath this wear a basic black vest tucked into some high waisted blue denim shorts over suspender effect tights. If you’re not ready to brave the suspender trend then opt for some opaque tights. They’ll work just as well! Finish off the look with a striped belt, a cross pendant necklace and some black lace up boots for the ultimate in edgy yet casual cool.

If you like Hannah’s style then you’ll love her blog, London Rose. Be sure to check it out for some gorgeous outfits and an insight into London life and fashion!
