It’s no secret that rapper Kanye West has a passion for the fashion world; so much so that he had a break from the music industry back in 2008 to attend fashion school.

Well fast forward two years and not only has Mr West completed a fashion internship at Gap but he also completed a line of shoes for a much admired designer of his, Louis Vuitton.

Music fans and general followers of celeb news will also know that Kanye is no stranger to voicing his opinions, whether it be through his actions or words; so it came as no surprise when he told GQ his thoughts on the competitive world.

“Fashion completely parallels with music.  Fashion people look down on celebrities”, he argued.  Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion right?  And I suppose you can’t blame a guy for wanting to break this ‘barrier’ and pursue another dream on his check list.  It’s reported the star was “heartbroken” after only being asked to complete one line for LV, so naturally he’s even more determined to get a name for himself as a dedicated designer.

Kardashian lovers out there will also be pleased to know that he will be featuring in Kim and Kourtney’s new show shot in New York.

Big things seem to be on the horizon for all these stars.  Watch this space…
