Style Trend 2010: Military Style Fashion
Attention! Military fashion is now more eye-catching than ever.
In the past we have been used to the usual green and brown colours of army inspired clothing.  But fashion designers are now taking a different route. In stores, you will start to see new military designs in leather and formal wear and also in some new blue and black colours.
This trend creates a very uniformed look, which is why many people like these designs. Jackets especially can instantly create a dressy look to any casual, daily outfit. This is why the catwalk has cleverly added more sex appeal to the military trend.

Both of these designs are paired with either a skirt or pair of trousers and they both emphasise the femininity of each outfit. Due to the army mainly being represented by men, it is important for designers to show that added female touch.
So when wearing your military jackets, pair them with ruffles, pleated skirts and fitted jeans or leggings. Then add some accessories to complete the themed look.

Alicia’s striking puffball sleeved, leather jacket is a great example of an updated military design.  Heidi Klum has also joined the trend with her rolled up sleeves and silver, diamond detail on her jacket.

As well as military jackets, you can also grab a selection of military dresses. Keep your eyes open for them in your high-street stores.
