Ex Victoria Secret Model Gisele Bündchen: New Face of H&M
She’s graced the cover of practically every fashion publication in the world and now, Brazilian born Gisele Bündchen, the worlds highest paid model, has been revealed as the new face of the H&M Autumn/Winter campaign. The model was spotted earlier in the summer posing in a scenic central London location in the brands autumn/winter collection, but the final images have been released, showing Bündchen in a variety of knitwear pieces and winter coats.
This is not the first time the model has collaborated with H&M, she has previously appeared as the face of their 2011 Spring/Summer line, a role which this year was filled by a swimwear clad Beyonce Knowles who went as far to make a full music video to accompany the campaign.
Bündchen is perhaps best known for some of her previous high profile campaigns, which have included the likes of American lingerie brand, Victoria’s Secret with whom she donned her wings to be a Victoria’s Secret Angel. She famously was featured in the Guinness Book of World Records in 2000 for wearing the most expensive piece of lingerie ever created, the Victoria’s Secret ‘Red Hot Fantasy Bra’ estimated to be worth $15 million dollars.
The model, who is married to American football star, Tom Brady, has graced the runway for some of the biggest fashion houses in the world, from Givenchy to Versace, Chanel to the late Alexander McQueen. She was the face of Dolce and Gabbana’s, ‘The One’ fragrance and more recently, in early 2013 she appeared as the face of Chanel’s Les Beiges make up line in a campaign shot by fashion powerhouse Mario Testino.
From these stunning new H&M campaign images, it’s clear to see exactly why Alexander McQueen famously dubbed her ‘The Body’.
