Kate Hudson Designs Modern Sports Clothing For JustFab Active Wear
Oscar-nominated actress, Kate Hudson is the latest celebrity to step into a designer’s shoes and create a fitness line for online retailer, JustFab.
You may have heard of JustFab, the huge online retailer specializing in shoes and handbags. The site has over 10 million regular users and expanded to build a UK site last year. The Creative Director and President of the brand is Kimora Lee Simmons, the entrepreneurial goddess of fashion. Well now, JustFab’s first fitness line will be designed by Kate Hudson. I can’t think of a better person for the role!
“I co-created Fabletics with Don Ressler and Adam Godenberg, [JustFab co-CEOs], to offer busy women quality active wear that is fashionable, functional and affordable,” explained Hudson. Not surprising considering Kate Hudson is a busy lady these days, having to take care of two children and keep up with her hectic schedule being one of the greatest actresses around.
From the Gym to the Design Studio
Kate’s line will be exciting for busy women everywhere who want workout clothes that are affordable, stylish and comfortable. However, Kate isn’t the only one who has ventured into the art of designing a sports line… Elisabetta Rogiani is a “Couture Fitness” designer with a website containing different lines of very stylish, unique fitness clothing for women. Lines designed by the likes of Jennifer Nicole Lee which include metallic sports bras and graphic printed tops and shorts have attracted the likes of Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and Salma Hayek.
Heidi Klum also announced her partnership with sportswear brand, New Balance. Unfortunately the line is only sold in the US but hopefully we’ll see it arrive in the UK Footlocker stores too. The line features colourful shorts, tanks and tights for all women who want to stay in shape. Like Kate Hudson, Heidi seems to have taken inspiration from her own personal life for her range.
