Emma Watson Owns Only 8 Pairs of Shoes: Certainly NOT Your Typical Shoe Obsessed Celebrity
Emma Watson is a lady with a huge fortune, however regardless of her large bank balance; she is not your typical celebrity shoe spender and claims she only owns 8 pairs of shoes.
Emma revealed this surprising insight in an interview with the Radio Times. It does sound pretty ridiculous as it’s probably even less than the average woman’s collection. Though, granted, hers probably come with a much heftier price tag.
This revelation came about as Watson compared herself to the character she plays in new film The Bling Ring. The character, who is a typical LA party girl, robs celebrities such as Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton of their expensive possessions to try and live the same lavish lifestyle. This is actually based on a true story.
But, despite the fact she is sitting comfortably on a fortune of £26 million, Emma prefers not to splash the cash. In fact, she said of Paris Hilton’s wardrobe: “She could never wear all of those clothes and half of them were brand new and still had the price tag on. But I suppose she just bought them to have them. We’ve all bought things on impulse but that’s an entirely different thing.”
We’ve all been there and had a guilty spending spree, but maybe not quite to that extent, and while other celebrities fritter away their fortunes, Emma has her (fashionably clad) feet firmly on the ground.
The Bling Ring focuses on Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton for a reason, though, as these shoe addicted celebrities are famed for squandering their money:

Lindsay Lohan earned her money from a young age, with her flaming red hair and freckled cheeks bursting onto the big screen at the tender age of eleven in The Parent Trap, although she started her modelling career aged three. As she has grown up, the celebrity lifestyle has caught up with her, as has her penchant for expensive shoes. She claims to own around 5000 pairs from designers all over the world, which most of us couldn’t even begin to imagine, and has herself called her shoe obsession “mad”.
Paris Hilton: 2000 Pairs
Famed as the heiress to the Hilton fortune (as well as a few saucy other things) Paris has grown up in the lap luxury, so it’s no wonder this is echoed in her shoe collection. With over 2000 pairs in her collection, it seems her appetite for footwear can’t be easily quenched. Her collection boasts shoes from top designers Louboutin and YSL. Jealous? Us?
