Alexa Chung Is The New Face of Vero Moda
TV presenter and quirky fashion darling, Alexa Chung, has nabbed her next big project as the new face of fashion label, Vero Moda.
After modelling jobs for Pepe Jeans and Madewell last year, it seems fitting that Alexa would become the face of a brand that represents her look so well.
Peter Pan collars, knee-high socks and generally feminine items, with a structured/masculine twist are in abundance within the collection and also appear on the envious limbs of Alexa Chung in the new Autumn/Winter campaign images. She also rocks a bowler hat, a pretty sweet-heart tulle dress and tailored jackets amongst many other pieces.
Vero Moda’s Katja Hundrup shows her excitement for the new collaboration, saying: “Alexa Chung is an inspiring woman to work with. She knows her fashion references and is able to combine high-end designer items with high street and vintage in a unique way, putting personality into whatever she wears.”
The 28 year old writes in her latest post for Vero Moda: “I love a detachable collar. I think the Sixties vibe suit my body type, which is skinny legs and a boyish frame. I have no idea what percentage of my wardrobe is designer as opposed to high street and vintage – it’s just a complete mishmash of everything.”
We think Alexa is the perfect choice for the new Vero Moda Autumn/Winter campaign. Her individual and feminine style represents the brand brilliantly and it’s a great move by the fashion label, as she is bound to bring in hoardes of new customers.
