It was only a matter of time before Twilight star Ashley Greene was snapped up by a designer brand. After a whole hoard of fabulous red-carpet dresses, prestigious designer brand DKNY have revealed that the young actress will appear as the new face of their Spring 2012 campaign.

It’s a smart move by the brand as Ashley is fast becoming a huge style icon and she has even been papped in DKNY designs at Twilight premieres and charitable events. Talking about the new collaboration, Ashley was quoted as saying that she has always loved Donna Karen’s creations, and said in a release: “To be a part of the brands’ message is incredibly exciting because it feels like such an organic fit. It’s easy to talk about how these clothes work for my lifestyle, whether I’m in New York, L.A. or traveling for work.”

It seems that the company is equally as excited to be working with the actress as DKNY Vice-President, Patti Cohen, said: “She is on the forefront of what it means to connect with a global fan base through social media, a focus that is aligned with our digital and new media initiatives.”

We can’t wait to see Ashley’s campaign images. We’re sure she will look fabulous!
