Topshop first began stocking designer Simone Rocha’s items after they were hugely impressed by her at Central St Martin’s graduate show and it has just been revealed that Topshop are keen to continue the relationship and will be stocking her first capsule collection in her signature style of tailored pieces with a modern spin.

Rocha graduated with a BA in fashion from the National College of Art and Design in Dublin back in 2008 and received special press recognition for her MA graduate show from Central St Martins two years later. The new designer has come on leaps and bounds since and has even debuted her collection at London Fashion Week and if that wasn’t enough of a dream come true, she was quickly snapped up by Topshop.

Talking about the collaboration with the famous high street store, Rocha said: “I am excited to be collaborating with Topshop again. The opportunity to create something accessible for all girls with my signature is one I cannot pass up.”

The capsule collection is made up of six modern, yet romantic pieces consisting of masculine tailoring with a feminine twist. The youthful pieces are made from unexpected fabrics and flash colour in the form of pink and black mesh sleeves and black felt wool with the limited edition double breasted coat containing cable knit contrasting sleeves.

The capsule collection will be in store from 15th September.
