Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen launch new handbag collection for The Row
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are both doing great things for the fashion industry at the moment. They’ve both become prestigious designers for their own fashion company The Row and their own sister Elisabeth has even been spotted wearing their designs on the red-carpet at the Cannes Film Festival.
The pair have also created a brand new fashion line called ‘Elizabeth and James,’ which offers a well-rounded collection of casual to dressy options for the trend conscious customer. They have also recently launched a brand new, affordable range of T-shirts in collaboration with Beachmint and are expanding their business even further with a new range of handbags for The Row.
The collection will consist of nine handbags including a classic shoulder bag, tote bag and backpack, all in luxe materials such as suede, python and alligator.
Talking to Harper’s Bazarre magazine about the collection, Ashley said: “We wanted there to be multiple options in the collection so you aren’t stuck with one style; there’s a purpose to every bag.”
The collection will hit stores such as Barney’s in New York, in August of this year.
