MAC Cosmetics to collaborate with Gareth Pugh

MAC cosmetics are the go-to place for many girls when a beauty need calls, and the prestigious make-up brand have launched many amazing collections including a collaboration with Internet bloggers, but it’s their latest collaboration with Gareth Pugh that is really causing a stir.

Pugh is best known for his gothic-inspired runway looks that he creates alongside make-up artist Alex Box. Back in 2010, his ‘Goddess From The Grave’ Spring 2010 show featured models sporting a deathly grey complexion thanks to MAC’s airbrushed application of the Micronized Airbrush Foundation in a combination of Black and White.

After such a successful show, the make-up giant have announced their first full scale collection with the designer that will launch globally in November. The collection will include a variety of colour products and accessories in special packaging that will focus heavily on Pugh’s favourite colours of black, white and grey. For those that like a smoky eye, this could be just the collection for you and for those of you that noticed Pugh’s leap into bold colour for the Fall, you could be in for a treat if he decides to translate this move into the cosmetic collection.

The collection will be launched at a prestigious launch party in New York next month which will be followed by a backstage turn at the designer’s show in Paris this October.
