Three Women Wear The Same Outfit To The Royal Wedding

You would think that with the Royal Wedding being such a high profile event, having an individual outfit would be the top of your list. You would go to every length to ensure you were the only one to be seen in that particular look to keep embarrassing moments like this at bay.

However, for these ladies, this was obviously not the case! Not only did two women wear the same outfit, but three of the guests at Westminster Abbey turned up wearing the exact same Matthew Williamson leopard dress coat. If that’s not enough, two of the three even had the same matching dress on underneath. Imagine the red faces when Isabella Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe, one of Prince Williams past girlfriends, Meghan Gunderman,  a university friend of the bride and groom’s, and another guest discovered they had made the biggest fashion blunder possible.

We think this faux pas is slightly forgivable as this look is bang on trend and looks oh-so-stylish on all three of the ladies, who all vary in age. Thank goodness they bought different hats!

The coat in question is from Matthew Williamson’s collection here, and cost a cool £1015.00. If you like the look as much as these three ladies do (although we suspect they may not be feeling so great about it now!), we’ve come up with a similar look.

What do you think of this fashion faux pas? Who do you think wore it best?
