Cameron Diaz in New Fashion Role: Her Worst & Best Fashion Moments
Cameron Diaz has recently been appointed the role of artistic director at designer handbag and shoe company Pour La Victoire. Already successful in the acting world, how will she fare in the fashion industry?
As an already successful actress, the public has seen Cameron Diaz’s style blossoming on the red carpet, so it seems no wonder such a fashion forward brand has snapped her up. Although in her 40 years Diaz has never been associated with the fashion industry itself, she sure knows what works for her and is a pro at turning heads at celebrity events. She is also aware of the impact celebrities in the public eye have on the general public.
Diaz stated: “Being influential in a brand and in its campaigns interests me. I love fashion; it’s a large part of my life. What I wear is looked at – it influences what other people wear because that’s just the world we live in.”
Although she is new to the business, she’s said to be looking forward to learning more about the business and engaging with the brand.
“Pour La Victoire gives me the opportunity to create something timeless,” she added. “There’s a lot I have to learn about the business. I’m interested in learning how collections are created. The word ‘fun’ – I want to say that it’s going to be fun, but it’s deeper than that.”
And fun is something Cameron Diaz has definitely had with her outfits on the red carpet, getting it oh so right, and sometimes oh so wrong.
Oh so wrong moments:
Cameron can usually work monochrome like a queen, but the cut of this top and trousers do nothing for one of the best figures in Hollywood.
So you can’t deny that she’s having fun, but there’s just too much going on with this dress, especially with the clashing red lippy.
Oh so right moments:
This lady looks hot to trot in a jumpsuits, especially white which compliments her skin tone and hair.
Cameron smoulders in this gold backless gown which was just made for the drama of the red carpet. Perfect.
Cameron’s collection will be available in Spring 2014, so wait with baited breath.
