Leighton Meester appears in new campaign for Vera Wang’s ‘Lovestruck’ fragrance
Glamorous US Actress Leighton Meester is best known for her role as Blair Waldorf in the hit TV show Gossip Girl, but the actress has been showing that she has many talents hidden under her belt as the new advertising campaign for Vera Wang’s new fragrance ‘Lovestruck’ has been revealed.
The actress was announced as the face of the new designer campaign and fragrance last year as part of a $3million deal. The new campaign was shot by photographer Carter Smith, in New York City, where Meester managed to pull off the perfect pose while perched on a fire escape, awaiting her ‘Romeo.’ The campaign’s Creative Director Trey Laird billed the advertisement as a “modern day love story.”
The perfume will be available in August in the US and on June 5th in the UK with the print and television advertisements running from September.
All of the Gossip Girl actresses seem to be doing quite well for themselves of late. Meester’s colleague Blake Lively is making waves in couture fashion as the face of the Chanel Mademoiselle Handbag, and Leighton herself has already appeared in the advertising campaign for Missoni’s Spring/Summer 2011 Campaign. It’s only a matter of time until Leighton Meester becomes one of fashions ‘it’ girls.
