Cedella Marley; you better get used to hearing this name, as the eldest daughter of singer and musician Bob Marley has landed the all important role of designing the Jamaican track and field Olympic uniforms.

The mother of three already has a collection of customized women’s clothing.  The line titled Catch A Fire (yes that is also the name of one of Bob’s albums) is a great passion of hers, whilst she also still remains a singer, touring and performing with her brother’s group, Ziggy Marley & The Melody Makers.

Of course the 2012 games are in London this time round and sports label Puma  have announced Cedella will be clothing the likes of Jamaica’s own Usain Bolt; dubbed the ‘fastest man in the world’.

Hearing this news Usain stated: “It’s going to be inspirational to run in London with that energy surrounding me”.  And if that wasn’t enough, the outfits the athletes will be wearing during ceremonial awards and when on the podium will also be a result of Puma’s new recruit.

Describing the look as “Grace Jones meets my Dad”, Cedella promises the uniforms are to be music and retro inspired.

Now here’s the long wait to see them!
