Having just designed a gorgeous new Bridal collection, designer Matthew Williamson is already working on his next project; a capsule collection for Macy’s department store in the US.

The capsule collection will consist of 30 different pieces and will give shoppers a taste of the luxury designer lifestyle with embellished dresses, blouses, leather jackets, scarves and jumpsuits in an array of fabrics, dynami prints and bold colour. The designer was enlisted by the famous department store’s head-honchos to help attract younger customers, who want to be seen in bright, fun and colourful pieces, but have thought to shop for their needs in Macy’s before.

Talking of the collection, Williamson said: “The collection aims to capture the essence of the mainline brand, with a focus on effortless glamour; dynamic prints; loosely structured silhouettes, and pops of strong colour.”

The collection will launch on April 13th and will be priced between $50 to $300, but hurry, as the collection will only be available for a limited time.
