Kim Kardashian’s fashion dilemma: Meeting the parents
Reality TV star Kim Kardashian may be dating New Jersey Nets player Kris Humphries and their relationship may be splashed all over the newspapers and magazines, but Kim’s parents, Kris and Bruce Jenner, are yet to meet her new love interest and vice versa.
Speaking to People.com Kris Jenner said: “She’s dating a lot of different people, I usually don’t meet them until she gets serious and, so far, she hasn’t brought him around.”
Kris also mentioned that daughter Kim has been working too hard to be able to attend family gatherings. This is true, as Kim is the new face of the January 2011 issue of Glamour magazine, where she looks suitably sultry in her Pyjamas.
However, this might not be the sort of outfit Kim should show off when meeting potential in-laws. As her relationship hots up, she’ll also have to be prepared to meet Kris’ parents and not only wow them with her personality, but also with the way she dresses. Kim was recently spotted wearing comfortable leggings and Uggs, which is an outfit a world away from the one Malandrino dress she was spotted in at the recent People’s Choice Awards.
Although Kim might opt for more well known labels, here are a few suggestions for her when meeting the in-laws. We think she should keep it relatively casual and comfortable, yet smart. Dresses teamed with tights and cardigans or smart trousers with a funky top might just be the outfit for Kim. What do you think?
