Street Style: Leather And (Faux) Fur As Seen On Daisy

Faux fur has always been a staple for Autumn/Winter, and this season is no exception. The same goes for leather, and the two together is a classic combo sure to finish off any outfit as the days get colder. I spotted the lovely Daisy wearing a gorgeous leather biker jacket, with a faux fur stole round her neck. These are teamed with fold up bleach denim shorts, fishnet tights and black Dr Martens. The whole look is tied together with a vintage style cross body bag, meaning there is the perfect balance of glam and grunge.

Daisy wears a jacket from H&M, DIY shorts made from jeans bought at a Charity Shop, a faux fur stole from H&M and Dr Martens from a local Flea Market.

To recreate Daisy’s look, stick to a simple colour palette of blacks, browns and pale denims. Go for some distressed cut off shorts in a bleached denim, and turn up to neaten. Wear these over black fishnet tights, and don’t worry if they rip! Keep the top simple by tucked in a plain black tee, and throw on a leather biker jacket in black. Faux fur stoles are available all over the High Street at the moment. Add one on round the neck to break up the black, and team with black lace up boots and a cross body bag.

For a twist on the look for evening wear, swap the fishnets for opaque tights, and swap the flat boots for wedges. Go for a black lace blouse rather than a basic tee, and swap the leather jacket for a boyfriend style blazer. Add on some chunky bracelets and rings, carry a black statement clutch and off into the night you go!
