Alice Temperley Launches Talent Search

Designer Alice Temperley, a hot favourite amongst both Middleton sisters, is launching a brand new creative talent search, titled ‘Alice By Temperley Talent’.

The British designer will choose a young model, actress, musician or artist every season, who will reinterpret and style the latest Temperley collection in a short film, which will be shown on TemperleyLondon.com and through Facebook and Twitter.

Singer/songwriter Isabel is the first candidate in Temperley’ talent search and was discovered by the designer at a gig on the Glastonbury Cider Bus last year. Isabel wears the label’s pre autumn/winter 2012-12 collection in her latest music video, which was produced as part of the Alice by Temperley Talent program and directed by the designers brother and sister, Henry and Matilda. The video will debut on the Temperley website in due course.

Talking about her new venture, the designer said: “I am always on the lookout for new talent and love being inspired by unique skills and meeting artisans with passion for their craft. Alice by Temperley is our contemporary line whose muses are iconic artists in the history of film, music or art. It was appropriate to dedicate space and time to promote emerging talent through the platforms and audiences we have available to us, supporting the future icons.”

Could you be Alice Temperley’s next protege?
